About Me

Hello, my name is Michelle Lee. I believe therapy is a time to examine internalized experiences that shape our perspectives and behaviors. Engaging in introspective work together can challenge us to reframe maladaptive thoughts. I aim to assist clients with managing emotional dysregulation and symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and trauma in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I hope to foster growth and strengthen coping skills during difficult transitional points in a person’s life.

I am interested in exploring my clients' family of origin and attachment styles. As a first generation Korean American, I have a special sensitivity to sociocultural factors and intergenerational trauma. I embrace the complexities that make up the lived experiences of my clients and affirm their unique identity.

I welcome all individuals and couples looking to deepen their relationship with themselves and others. I am an online therapist serving clients in the state of Maryland, and I take a collaborative approach to therapy while embracing humor and eccentricity throughout the process.
